Welcome to Year 1 – where no two days are ever the same; there is always something fun and exciting to learn and do!

In Year 1 we spend a lot of our time learning through practical activities and continuous provision, along with more traditional lessons as we think this is the best way to learn new skills, it is also lots of fun. Our classroom environment enables us to consolidate new learning and challenge our thinking; this helps us to ease the transition from Reception to KS1.

In KS1 we take pride in our work and celebrate our achievements in weekly assemblies with certificates and awards.
