Welcome to Year 3!

This year will be full of excitement and a brilliant start to life in the juniors.

Your child will explore exciting topics in subjects like English, Maths, RE, Science, Geography, History, Spanish, Computing, PE, Art and Design Technology. In English, they will read and write stories, poems, and information texts while developing their grammar and spelling skills. In Maths, they will learn about multiplication, division, fractions, and measurement. Science will allow them to discover the wonders of the natural world, from plants and animals to forces and magnets. They will also dive into History, learning about ancient civilizations and how the past shapes our present.

Your child will get the chance to go to swimming lessons at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre, and they will dazzle performing the Easter production. Year 3 is all about building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning! We are excited to share this journey with you and look forward to a fantastic year together.
