Welcome to the St Benet’s PTA page! We are a friendly, dedicated group of parents, carers, and staff who work together to support our school community.
As a Catholic school community, our goal is to enrich our children’s educational journey, foster strong relationships among families, and raise vital funds for extra resources and memorable experiences that sit outside the school budget.
What We Do
Every penny raised by the PTA goes directly back into school life to benefit the children across all key stages.
- Fundraising Events: We organise fun, family-friendly events throughout the academic year, including school discos, seasonal fairs, non-uniform days, and raffle draws.
- Funding Resources: Thanks to the generosity of our families, past fundraising has helped provide playground equipment, subsidised school trips, new library books, and special gifts for sacramental celebrations.
- Building Community: We bring parents, parishioners, and staff together to celebrate and support our school family.
How You Can Get Involved
Every parent or carer with a child at St Benet’s is automatically a member of our PTA! You can contribute as much or as little time as you have—there is no fixed commitment.
Match Funding: Check if your employer offers a match funding scheme to double the impact of money raised at our events.
Attend Meetings: Join our termly meetings (in person or online) to share ideas, plan events, and see how funds are allocated.
Volunteer Your Time: Lend a hand for an hour at a school disco, help run a stall at a fair, or assist with setting up events.
Support Our Initiatives: Attend events, buy raffle tickets, or donate items for non-uniform days.
